Principal's Message

I took over the reins of Kamla Lohtia S.D. College as a Principal on May 10, 2011 with full realization that I have to carry on the efforts being made to materialize the founder’s vision to make it a centre of excellence. The college has already crossed some milestones in a short span of life. Spacious building, well equipped Library, Magnificent Auditorium, Computer Laboratories, Seminar Hall, attractive college canteen amidst lovely lawns have replaced the small building in which it took a humble beginning. It is my firm conviction that in an academic institution there is a need to inculcate certain values in students during the Teaching Learning Process. Value based Education, Professional Education, Intensive Professional Training matching with excellence in Academic and Co-curricular activities is my vision of all round development of students. A longing for knowledge sharpens their competitive spirit. My aim is to equip the students, the future generation, with the necessary skills so as to enable them to keep pace with ever changing scenario of the competitive world. I have keen desire to provide a cultural basis to my students so that they develop harmonious personalities having exemplary individual and social life. In the end, I wish to express my vision as Principal: Kamla Lohtia S.D. College Ludhiana shinning on the State Educational Map and on the National Map as well.
