Dr.Sarita Aggarwal Associate Professor in Post Graduate department of Commerce & Management at Kamla Lohtia S.D College, Ludhiana got a "Minor Research Project on Benchmarking - Indian Public Sector Bank" approved from U.G.C. She is the First teacher in the department of Commerce to got such a research project sanctioned. A financial assistance of Rs.90,000 has been granted by U.G.C. The tenure of project is 18 months. The project aims at the need for a greater degree of professionalism in Public Sector Banks in the changed financial scenario owing to Globalization and Privatisation. The internationally accepted norms have become the standard for benchmarking the domestic entities i.e. Public Sector Banks. The management,Principal and the fellow teachers feel it to be yet another feather in Kamla Lohtia Sanatan Dharam Fraternity's cap and congratulate Dr.Sarita Aggarwal.
